Sarah Towles Reed Senior High School was a public high school located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Named after the educator and suffragist Sarah Towles Reed, the school was part of the Orleans Parish School Board. Reed High School was known for serving the eastern New Orleans community and offered various academic and extracurricular programs aimed at developing student potential and readiness for post-secondary education and careers. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the school went through significant changes, including periods of closure and reopening under different administrations. Over the years, the structure of the school changed, attempting to meet community needs and educational standards. Eventually, Reed High School was closed permanently in the 2010s due to declining enrollment and other operational challenges. The building has since been repurposed for other educational or community uses.
